Another Season!

Our pumpkin patch has been open a little over a week now and the weather has mostly cooperated. We had a great weekend this weekend! It's hard to believe it's been 13 years since we started our little patch with 30 pumpkins and a pringles can in our front yard. It's grown so much over the years and so has our family! When we first started Emily was 6 and Erica was 3 and now they are 19 and 16 and we've added 3 more girls! Ellie is 10, Elicia is 6 and Emerie is 5. They are all in school. Emily is in her second year of college at Murray State, Erica is in 11th grade, Ellie is in 5th grade, Elicia is 1st grade and our baby, Emerie, is in kindergarten.
This weekend we had lots going on with vendors selling homemade ice cream, kettle corn, painted gourds, primitive items, Pampered Chef, and also doing face painting. Our hay ride was going almost constantly and the corn maze and haunted barn had lots of visitors. The playground equipment was used a lot and our girls' pets received lots of attention as well.
We enjoy opening our place to lots of visitors each year and have enjoyed seeing other little ones grow up as well. We hope we can do this for years to come. Hope to see you this season!
